We’re excited to share an opportunity for a Senior Robotic Engineer role with a cutting-edge robotics team working on humanoid, legged robots, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). This role is ideal for hands-on engineers who enjoy building real robots, working deeply across simulation, motion planning, control, and ROS 2-based systems.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy autonomous robotic systems including humanoid, legged robots, and AMRs.
  • Build and maintain robot simulations using Isaac Sim, including environments, sensors, and physics behavior.
  • Develop and integrate ROS1/ROS2 packages in C++ and Python.
  • Configure and tune MoveIt pipelines for motion planning, collision checking, and manipulation tasks.
  • Implement and optimize kinematics, dynamics, and control loops (FK/IK, Jacobians, PID, trajectory tracking).
  • Simulate and integrate sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, and depth sensors; perform sensor fusion using camera, LiDAR, and IMU data.
  • Build motion planning solutions using OMPL, planning scenes, and grasp planning frameworks.
  • Create and manage URDF/SRDF models, import robot models into simulation, and validate behavior.
  • Work closely with hardware, simulation, and software teams to ensure smooth robot bring-up and deployment.
  • Must have

  • Strong experience with ROS2 (or ROS1) using C++ and Python
  • Hands-on expertise in Isaac Sim, MoveIt, RViz, and robot simulation workflows
  • Solid understanding of Linux, Git, and Docker-based development
  • Deep knowledge of robot kinematics & dynamics (FK, IK, Jacobians)
  • Experience with motion planning, collision checking, and planning pipelines
  • Comfortable working with URDF/SRDF and robot model integration
  • Knowledge of control theory, including PID controllers and feedback systems
  • Experience simulating and processing data from LiDAR, cameras, depth sensors, and IMUs
  • Nice to have

    • Experience with humanoid or legged robots in research or production
    • Familiarity with PhysX, contact dynamics, and physics-based simulation
    • Prior work on grasp planning or manipulation-heavy robots
    • Exposure to large-scale autonomous systems or multi-robot environments

    What success looks like

    • High-fidelity robot simulations closely matching real-world behavior
    • Well-structured, production-ready ROS packages and simulation assets
    • Reliable motion planning and control across multiple robot platforms
    • Strong collaboration across software, simulation, and hardware teams
